This summer, more than 4,500 pounds of honey is heading into communities across the country as part of the Nate’s Honey Gives Hope initiative. When school doors close for the summer, many children lose access to resources they rely on for regular meals. This is where small, thoughtful support can make a real difference. A pantry staple like honey adds natural sweetness to drinks, snacks and meals, offering something real and comforting in everyday moments.
The product donation will be shared with food banks and other non-profits, bringing a little heart (and honey) to families during a season that can look different when the school year ends. It’s a simple mission rooted in something bigger: showing up for communities when access to daily essentials isn’t always guaranteed.
This year’s donation reached:
- Atlanta Community Food Bank in East Point, Georgia
- Central Pennsylvania Food Bank in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
- Feeding South Florida in Pembroke Park, Florida
- Oregon Food Bank in Portland, Oregon
- Northwest Arkansas Food Bank in Lowell, Arkansas
- The Market at CAIN in Cincinnati, Ohio
Each of these organizations play an important role in supporting their local communities, helping to make sure families have access to food throughout the summer months.
From one backyard beehive to supporting families nationwide, Honey Gives Hope reflects the heart of Nate’s Honey. We’re honored to share our products with the belief that something as simple as a bottle of honey can help brighten a table, support a family and make a meaningful impact.
